The Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe, with grant preparation assistance from Clegg & Associates, won a grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation for a quality improvement project that will evaluate the use of an electronic medical record system and new protocols to increase the rate of recommended preventive health screenings and immunizations among Health Department patients. Beginning in the summer of 2009, the project will continue through 2011 and track the impact of the new system and protocols on Health Department operations and performance.

Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe:  Since 2006 to present, Clegg & Associates has provided consultation to guide the reorganization of a number of departments within the tribe's administration.  We are currently working with the health department’s services, including the medical clinic, dental clinic, behavioral health, and community wellness programs. Project involves changes in roles and responsibilities, job descriptions, organizational structure, and implementation of performance measurement.

Clegg & Associates was selected to design and implement a multi-year evaluation of the Express Credit Union and Express Advantage services for low and moderate income credit union members. The evaluation began in January of 2009.

Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation:  In 2007, Clegg & Associates completed the design of the data/information system component for the Gates Foundation’s Every Family a Home initiative.  Working in collaboration with Stephen Buxbaum of Reflective Management, we researched the data/information capacity of homelessness systems in three demonstration counties and developed recommendations regarding the approaches necessary to create improved data/information capacity in systems serving homeless families.

Goosefoot Community Fund:  Since 2006, Clegg & Associates has designed and facilitated board retreats to address the organization’s long-term financial sustainability. Retreats include preparatory meetings with executive director and board chair, development of materials to guide discussion, on-site group process facilitation. Following the close of a three-retreat process in 2008, Goosefoot developed a redesigned vision, mission, business plan, organizational structure, and staffing plan. Goosefoot is a nonprofit community organization working to maintain and enhance the rural character of South Whidbey Island.
